The purpose of this Study session is to inform the Board about the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process, review the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Tierra Linda Campus Rebuild Project (Project), and respond to Board questions regarding the CEQA process and Project DEIR. This is a study session and no action is required at this time. |
The Tierra Linda Campus Rebuild Project Draft Environmental Impact Report was published on April 26, 2016 for public comment and posted on the District website at www.scsdk8.org. The review period for the DEIR is April 26, 2016 to June 9, 2016 and all comments must be received before 5 PM, June 9, 2016. After the close of the comment period a final EIR document for board certification will be prepared. The District's CEQA consultant, Amy Skews-Cox, and legal counsel, Mark Kelly (DWK) will review the CEQA process, the Project DEIR, and answer Board questions. |
